Welcome to my new look blog page which will feature more art work and less words – Hurray! Just what I wanted and I hope it will be of interest to you with more regular updates.
I am a UK artist/tutor living and working in Essex. I consider my art education started aged 8 when I was given a big box of Crayola crayons with a wide range of colour. This early enthusiasm lead to the opportunity of art degree studies with the University of East Anglia at Suffolk College, Ipswich. Colour and drawing continue to be significant for me in my art practice for the development and realisation of ideas into artwork.
As a keen (not tidy), gardener, I grow for food, colour, scent, form. Some of which end up in the kitchen and others in my sketch books.
Additional to this I teach independent art classes for drawing and painting and run life drawing sessions in Maldon, Essex.
